ATHLETIC CONDITIONING:  A unique, high energy cardio workout which combines athletic based movements designed to burn calories, with non-traditional strength-training for muscle toning and conditioning.

BODYPUMP™: Is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body.   This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYPUMP™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

BODY SCULPTING:   Increase your strength, stability, and muscle tone with a class that targets every muscle group using resistance training using dumbbells and body bars.  Finish off with abdominal strength training and stretching for flexibility. A well rounded total body workout!! Suitable for all levels.

BOXING:  Learn the basics of Olympic style boxing while increasing flexibility, strength, and speed.   Improve stamina, coordination, and balance.  This very intensive, high energy, explosive class will knock your socks off!!

BURN & BUILD:  High energy circuit training class designed to burn fat, build lean muscle and incinerate your metabolism. This class will put a new twist on exercise basics for a total body workout that is effective and functional.

F.I.T.:  Functional Interval Training: The F.I.T. workout is a unique class that implements your body as a means to achieve total fitness. This creative class can quickly increase strength while also burning fat and calories therefore resulting in the best “you” anyone has ever seen. This class is adaptable to increase the fitness level of any individual from beginner to the elite athlete.

PILATES:  Pilates emphasizes the balanced development of the body’s core strength, flexibility and awareness through controlled breathing and precise movement. Athletes and dancers love it, as do seniors, women rebounding from pregnancy, and people who at various stages of physical rehabilitation.

STAY ACTIVE: A 30 minute class designed for seniors to achieve better health by increasing flexibility, strength, balance and circulation through regular exercise. 6 week weight training and track membership. See fitness desk for rates and registration.

STRENGTH AND CORE:  Combines energy, tempo, and weights to bring your workout mid section to the next level.  Strengthen your body from the inside out!

STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH: This class provides a fully body sculpting and toning workout. All workouts focus on major muscle groups. A challenging and invigorating workout that promises to be a blast!

SWEATING TO THE OLDIES: A new class that will have you singing along to your favorite hits of the 50's and 60's.. so much fun that you'll forget that it's actually good for you!

THE METHOD: This unique circuit format challenges you with many nontraditional and unique exercises each performed for a set amount of time before advancing to the next station. This class  incorporates advanced cardio intervals with strength training. Your body will burn calories throughout the entire day.

YOGA: Experience a soothing release of tension in the body.  Strengthen, tone, and relax.

ZUMBA: Combination of Latin and International music-dance themes creating a dynamic and exciting calorie burning workout. Uses fast and slow rhythms to improve aerobic capacity and overall fitness. 

20/20/20: 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of toning and 20 minutes of Pilates uniquely compiled in this one hour class help you to get your total body conditioned.

SPINNING: The ultimate calorie burning workout. Build endurance, speed and power while burning up to 800 calories per class. Work to maintain or lose body weight while riding between 15 and 22 miles a day. Realize a “new you”. Space is limited. Please call up to 24 hours ahead to reserve a bike.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: (Based on Newtown Schools)
School Cancelations – All morning classes will be cancelled and there will be no childcare available. Please call to confirm evening classes.
School Delays – If there is a 90 minute or 2 hour delay, all classes scheduled before 9:30am will be cancelled. The 9:30am classes will move to 10:30am. All other classes will remain at their scheduled times. Childcare will open at 10:00am.
